What you need to know
A friend of mine had suggested Lagertha’s Season 3 Leather Armor from the History Channel show “Vikings”. When I looked into the costume, I thought “oh yeah, I can do that in no time!”. Yeah… little did I know, that costume is way more complex when you actually get your hands on high rez pictures. Long story short. After days of hunting down pictures of the armor (FYI, I still haven’t seen a proper image of the back), hours of ebaying for cheap materials and tools and watching leather and chainmail tutorials on YouTube, I finally started on Lagertha. It took me way longer than expected.
